It's almost been a year since the grand opening of Surface Gallery. Here is a before and after picture of the gallery. The after photo is a picture of the gallery before the guests arrived on the evening of Sept. 5th 2008. What an incredible reception it was.
We are now getting ready for our big anniversary exhibition!
Our next opening "One" will be held on September 4th from 5-10pm with new work by artists Vikki Cruz, Yvonne Cavanagh, Liz Sherwyn and Brent Eviston. Join us for a celebratory evening!
We are so thankful to the Bakersfield community for your support of the downtown arts district and our little part of it. It is because of your interest and encouragment that we will continue to bring you exciting new exhibits and further expand our workshop offerings. We are looking forward to another great year at Surface Gallery.
